She is cheeky, passionate, musically gifted… and the oldest Holocaust survivor in the world. “Every day, life is beautiful,”says Alice Sommer.

In this video, Sommer, a former concert pianist who was imprisoned in a Nazi concentration camp, says she believes that Beethoven was a “miracle”. But at 106 years old, with a positivity that spills out in her gorgeous giggle, her inspirational words, not to mention her piano playing, you can’t help but think that there is something of the miracle about this amazing woman.
